PEP II
Putting Your New Skills to Work

For Parents of Children Ages 5 - 14

PEP II builds on the skills developed in PEP I and is often retaken as a refresher course. PEP II features extensive skills practice and teaches:

Increased understanding and strategies for diagnosing and redirecting misbehaviors
New approaches to equipping your child with essential social skills
Understanding of the sources of anger, its negative effects and ways to manage it
Successful problem solving techniques to use with your child
Ways to overcome the roadblocks to effective communication
More practice using logical consequences to set and uphold limits
Family Council, a regular family meeting that promotes cooperation and responsibility

Course length: Ten weeks

Prerequisite: Preschoolers A and B, PEP I, or Thriving with Teens

Class Schedule:
This class will be offered again in Fall 2010.
